Seal / Expunge Process
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) provides a service through which certain criminal records can be expunged (removed from our records) or sealed (placed under highly restricted access).
For information regarding the seal and expunge process, you may access FDLE’s website. You may also call 850-410-7870 if you need further assistance.
Some offenses are ineligible for sealing/expunction and there are reasons for denial.
You may also obtain additional information and forms from the Leon County Clerk of Court. Call 850-577-4000 for further assistance.
