Through its many programs and services, the Office of Human Services and Community Partnerships (HSCP) promotes and supports the health, safety, and welfare of all Leon County citizens. HSCP consists of Primary Healthcare Services, Human Services, Housing Services, and Veteran Services.
HSCP partners with the community through many safety net organizations and its citizen committees to address the needs of the most vulnerable populations of Leon County. The Community Health Coordinating Committee, made up of local physicians and partner organizations such as the FSU College of Medicine and FAMU School of Nursing, has helped with strategic campaigns to promote access to health care services for uninsured residents of Leon County. These services include primary care, dental services, and the NACo Prescription Discount Card.
