The District 2 Medical Examiner’s Office services seven counties:

• Leon
• Franklin
• Gadsden
• Jefferson
• Liberty
• Taylor
• Wakulla

 District 2 also services the following counties for District 3:

• Lafayette
• Madison
• Suwannee

Mission Statement:  The mission of the District 2 Medical Examiner’s Office is to serve and protect the interests of this community by providing objective and unbiased medicolegal death investigations to determine the causes and manners of death as authorized by Florida Statutes.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hours of Release

Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday – Sunday: TBD
