Leon County Mosquito Control No-Spray Program
Citizens may request that their address not be sprayed. Mosquito Control will not guarantee specific buffer distances around a property, but will make all reasonable efforts to avoid directly or indirectly spraying the property. Professional and amateur beekeepers, plus organic farmers and gardeners are encouraged to take advantage of this program.
Residents must personally request these services by contacting Mosquito Control via telephone or e-mail. Proxy requests, such as petitions, will not be accepted. Properly constituted and recognized homeowner or neighborhood associations, by following their internal procedures and by-laws, may make a written request for the area under their jurisdiction to be listed as a No-Spray area.
Every January, we will contact residents in the program to confirm addresses, telephone numbers and type of service desired and to update our records to reflect any changes indicated by citizens.
To request this service, please email Aaron Ford: FordA@LeonCountyFL.gov
Please include the following information with your request:

Home and/or work/cell telephone number

Under Florida Law, email addresses are public record. If you do not want your email address released to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
