Neighborhood Readiness Training
Prepare for the Atlantic Hurricane Season with the Leon Ready Neighborhood Readiness Training. The training is designed to help you, your family and your neighborhood prepare for disasters.
Creating a plan can help protect property, but most importantly, save lives. There are several things you can do to increase your readiness, and this program will provide you with the tools to prepare, act and recover with your neighborhood when a disaster strikes.
Neighborhood trainings will begin in June to coincide with the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. Trainings are roughly 30 minutes and can be presented during one of your regularly scheduled neighborhood meetings. At each neighborhood training, a County representative will bring 5 pre-made disaster preparedness buckets for neighborhood distribution.
