The Master Recycler Program empowers Leon County residents to reduce waste, recycle effectively, and become leaders in their community. Through hands-on learning and local insights, participants will gain the skills and knowledge to guide others in creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.

The next Master Recycler training will take place on Saturday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leon County Main Library, 200 W Park Ave. Registration is required. More information below!

Registration for this event is not yet open. Join the waitlist today to be notified when registration is available, and to receive up-to-date information on future Master Recycler events and resources.

Once the training is complete, all participants will receive a Master Recycler certificate from the Office of Sustainability. Lunch will be provided. Please do not register for this training if you have already received a Master Recycler certificate, as space is limited and we hope to train more citizens to be experts in local recycling.
