Benefits and Well-Being Fair

About the Benefits and Well-Being Fair

The annual Benefits and Well-Being Fair was created for our valued Leon County employees to:

  1. Give employees the ability to learn about all the wonderful benefits Leon County offers.
  2. Give the employees an opportunity to talk to each Benefits vendor about what they offer and make any new voluntary benefits selections or changes to their existing benefits.
  3. Visit with community vendors who offer resources, products and/or services which can improve any of the five areas of well-being the Live Well Leon program focuses on.
  4. Let the employees know how much Leon County Government appreciates them.

It is also a great opportunity to connect with employees from across the County and enjoy some fun activities! This year’s Fair will feature:

  • Benefits and Well-Being vendors.
  • Free vaccines.
  • Photo booth.
  • Breakfast or lunch available.
  • Opportunities for vendor giveaways and prize drawings.
  • The Big Red Bus for blood donations.
  • A chance to connect with co-workers and create lasting memories!

Benefits and Well-Being Fair Parking Information

Visitor parking for the program will be available on levels 3 and 4 of the St. Augustine Parking Garage located adjacent to the Conference Center. Parking in areas other than those designated for the conference attendees without a parking pass may result in a citation.

Big trucks should park in the Civic Center parking lot, across from the Turnbull Center.

Open Enrollment is October 20 – October 31, 2025

Welcome to Leon County Government’s 2026 Open Enrollment season! Open Enrollment is your annual, one-time opportunity to enroll, make changes or cancel your benefit elections for the upcoming plan year. The only exception is when there is a mid-year IRS qualifying event. Any elections or changes made during open enrollment are effective January 1, 2026. During this time, you should also update your address, emergency contact information, life insurance, Florida Retirement System, and Deferred Compensation beneficiaries, if necessary. If you are not making any changes, then you do not need to do anything. Refer to the 2026 Benefits Guide (coming soon!) for an overview of the employee benefits plans and programs available to you.
