Meeting Rooms

Meeting rooms are available for public use when the libraries are open, on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • All room reservations require a library card number and PIN.
  • Meetings must be free and open to the public.
  • Any group reserving a meeting room must have an adult (18 yrs. or older), parent or legal guardian in the room at all times that the room is occupied.
  • Meeting rooms may not be used for personal or private financial profit or for solicitation of business.
  • Four (4) reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.
  • A maximum of four hours per day may be reserved.
  • Reservations may be made up to 90 days ahead of the desired meeting date.
  • Light snacks and non-alcoholic bottled beverages may be served.
  • Use of the meeting rooms does not imply library endorsement of the aims, policies or activities of any group.

Main Library Program Rooms A and B each have a minimum occupancy of five people and must be booked 24 hours in advance.

Dogwood Room - Capacity 24

Features include a large floor-to-ceiling window, tables and chairs, and a sink. There is a 42" wall-mounted smart TV available for use. The room is 15' wide and 26' long.

Magnolia Room - Capacity 6 

Features include 2 tables and 6 chairs. The room is 8.5' wide and 14' long.

Meeting Rooms at Community Centers

Two branch libraries share buildings with Community Centers. Use of Community Center rooms is scheduled through Leon County Division of Parks and Recreation.

  • What’s included: (4) 6’ round, (8) 8-foot rectangular, (19) 6-foot tables, and 80 chairs.
  • Amenities: sink, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, Wi-Fi, complete audio-visual system, DVD/VCR player, projector, and screen.
  • Details: The Lake Jackson Community Center is located in the Huntington Oaks Shopping Center at the corner of North Monroe street and Fred George Road. The center is adjacent to the Lake Jackson Library and has two different meeting rooms – one large and another small sized.
  • Cost: 9:00-2:00 ($35.00+tax), 4:00-9:00 ($35.00+tax), 9:00-9:00 ($60.00+tax)

  • What’s included: (21) 6-foot tables, (4) 3 round tables, and 135 chairs

  • Details: Woodville Community Center opened its doors on October 15, 2007. The approximate 6,000 square foot facility is adjacent to the Historic St. Marks Trail.
  • Cost: 9:00-2:00 ($35.00+tax), 4:00-9:00 ($35.00+tax), 9:00-9:00 ($60.00+tax)
