A library card unlocks a world of possibilities.

With your Leon County Public Library card, you can stream, read, and learn for free—anytime, anywhere.

• Borrow physical materials including books, DVDs, music CDs, instruments, and seasonal seeds.
• Receive digital access to eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, and films.
• Explore free tools for learning including Brainfuse and Mango Languages.
• Access services including in-library printing, meeting room reservations, and public computers.

Once you've received your library card number, download our LCPL app to your mobile devices to browse the catalog, place holds, manage your account, and keep a digital version of your library card.

Library Card Eligibility

Apply In Person or Online

You can apply for a library card in person by visiting one of our library locations or online by submitting an application using the forms below.

• Select  Youth if the applicant is 15 years old or younger and you are the parent or guardian assisting the youth in filling out the application. The youth must be a Leon County resident, or live out-of-county but attend school in Leon County.
• Select  Adult 16+ if you are 16 years old or older and are a Leon County resident, property owner, student, or teacher, or you work for an eligible agency.
• Select  Non-Resident if you reside outside of Leon County. Non-residents may apply for a library card for a nominal fee.
• Select  Card Replacement if you have an account but need to replace your library card. Replacement cards may be obtained for a nominal fee.
