Audience: All ages

Dive into a vibrant world of fantasy, comics, and fandoms with a variety of exciting programs for all ages. Throughout the event, explore hands-on activities, interactive sessions, cosplay competitions, along with scavenger hunts and themed book displays. Come dressed as your favorite character and be part of the fun

Dragon Fruit Boba

When: 10 a.m.
Audience: All ages

Enjoy a refreshing boba drink featuring green tea, popping boba, and dragon fruit in honor of this year’s theme. Available while supplies last.

Potion Making at the Alchemists’ Apothecary

When: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Audience: All ages

Visit the Alchemists' Apothecary to create your own glitter sensory potion bottle.

Training Grounds

When: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Audience: All ages

Become a dragon trainer at the Training Grounds! Participants can enjoy several activities, including memory games and a riddle contest, that will test their skills, and then make a keepsake trainer badge to show off throughout the event.

Scavenger Hunt

When: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Audience: Youth

Search high and low for mythical creatures hidden in the library to win a prize!

Dragon Drums

When: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Audience: All ages

Create your own Chinese dragon piñata drum filled with chocolate gold coins.

Mystery Dragon Quest

When: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Audience: Ages 12 and older

Test your puzzle-solving skills in a Mystery Dragon Quest! This quest will involve solving riddles, deciphering codes, and more! This activity is intended for teens and adults, but all ages are welcome to participate.

Cosplay Competition

When: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Audience: Ages 8 and older

Unleash your creativity and showcase your craftmanship by dressing up as your favorite literary characters, superheroes, or pop culture icons for a chance to win gift card prizes. Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer or trying it out for the first time, the competition is open to participants ages eight and older with all skill levels.

Costume creators younger than eight years old are invited to participate in our all-ages Costume Parade that will occur after the competition. 

Registration is required for the competition. Register to participate. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m. 

Costume Parade

When: 12 to 12:15 p.m.
Audience: All ages

Dress your best for this festive costume parade of all things fandom, including superheroes, literary characters, and more! All ages are invited to show off their costumes.

Tales from the Tabletop: Shelly Mazzanoble and the Power of Dungeons & Dragons

When: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Audience: All ages
Location: In person and virtual via Zoom

Join author and podcast co-host Shelly Mazzanoble as we discuss her book Welcome to Dragon Talk: Inspiring Conversations About Dungeons & Dragons and the People Who Love to Play It. Mazzanoble will share her expertise and talk shop on tabletop roleplaying games and their potential for transformative experiences. Gather around the table to hear about her more than 20-year career and discuss Dungeons & Dragons’ social-emotional benefits and philosophy on game design as a positive tool in education and parenting.
