Open Enrollment

What is Open Enrollment?

The Annual Open Enrollment period for Leon County Government employees is October 21 through November 1. Certain benefit changes must be made during this period, unless you have an IRS qualified change in status. Enrollment choices made during this period will be effective from January 1 to December 31 the next calendar year.

These dates have also been designated as the Open Enrollment period for Leon County Government employees to join the Sick Leave Pool or participate in Annual Leave Sell back.

Participating in Open Enrollment is crucial for ensuring your benefits are up-to-date. Use this time to review your current plan choices and ensure they still meet your needs. Detailed information can be found in the 2024 Benefits Guide and 2025 Benefits Guide

To make the most of your Open Enrollment period, visit the 2024 Benefits & Well-Being Fair or attend one of our Banner Self Service Help Sessions.
