In accordance with Florida Statutes § 125.66(4)(b)2 and 3, this page contains legal notices and public meeting dates for Leon County’s Development Services Division. The purpose of these notices is to keep the community informed regarding proposed land development activities in the county in order to encourage public involvement in the land development process. Meeting notices are also published in a general circulation newspaper (Tallahassee Democrat) and through direct mail notifications, in accordance with the public noticing requirements outlined in the Leon County Land Development Code.
For additional information about participating in any meeting, to provide public comment, or to view plans and staff reports electronically through the County’s plan review program, “ProjectDox”, please do one or more of the following:
- Contact the Project Coordinator listed on the respective agenda (phone and email provided).
- Provide PUBLIC COMMENTS online now. You will need the project name and project number from the respective agenda.
- Call and speak to a Service Advisor with Development Services at 850-606-1300.

Legal Notice of Appeals: Please be advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by Leon County with respect to any matter considered at a Type “A,” Development Review Committee (DRC) or Board of Adjustment and Appeals (BOAA) Meeting, such person will need a record of these proceedings, and for this purpose such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record indicates the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Leon County does not provide or prepare such a record. See Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes for more information.
