Nawfal R. Ezzagaghi serves as the Assistant County Administrator overseeing a number of County offices including Development Support and Environmental Management, Public Works, Resource Stewardship, and the Planning, Land Management & Community Enhancement.
As a Licensed Professional Engineer, Nawfal began his career with Leon County in 2004 serving as a Senior Environmental Engineer, Environmental Review Supervisor, and Director of the Environmental Services Division, having been previously employed in the private sector working on projects throughout the Florida Panhandle. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Arkansas State University and Certified by the Florida Center for Public Management at the Florida State University as a Public Manager.
Dedicated to his community and profession, Nawfal has been the lead professional in the development of policy and execution of projects to preserve and protect our natural resources and to facilitate high quality and responsible development. Nawfal has earned the respect of both the development and the environmental communities through his demonstrated ability to meet with all people, and solve difficult problems.
