Ken Morris serves as the Assistant County Administrator overseeing a number of County offices including the Office of Financial Stewardship, Office of Management and Budget, Office of Information Technology, and Legislative and Strategic Initiatives.
Ken began his career with Leon County in 2004 serving as the County’s point-person on legislative affairs, having been previously employed by several offices of the Florida Legislature including the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) and the Florida House of Representatives’ Local Government Council. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University and is often sought as a guest lecturer at the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy on local government administrative matters.
Dedicated to his community and profession, Ken is a proud graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 29, former Chairman of the Town and Gown Initiative, and an active member of the Florida City and County Management Association.
