HHW-CHANNEL16-AD_MAR

Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Events are supplemental services held on the first Saturday of the month between September and May at the Public Works Operations Center, 2280 Miccosukee Rd. We also participate in the City of Tallahassee's Cash-For-Trash events on the third Saturdays of April and October at the City of Tallahassee Solid Waste Services Facility, 2727 Municipal Way.

So far this season, over 2,000 citizen superheroes have disposed of nearly 36 tons of hazardous waste, setting three new monthly records. Thank you for your support!

Collection Event Dates and Locations

For citizen and staff safety, Collection Events are weather dependent and may be cancelled in the case of adverse conditions such as rain, lightning, or high winds. If you need to dispose of hazardous waste and an event is cancelled, the Hazardous Waste facility is open Monday- Saturday, 8 a.m - 5 p.m.
