Summer Youth Training Program 2023


Leon County Government is now accepting applications for the Summer Youth Training Program. In partnership with CareerSource Capital Region, the five-week Summer Youth Training Program provides young adults ages 14-24 years old job experience by working with a Leon County department over the summer.

All positions are 20 hours per week and pay $11 per hour. Summer employment and training will run from Monday, June 19 through Friday, July 21, 2023.

Leon County and CareerSource Capital Region’s partnership gives youth more professional development opportunities through the Learn, Earn and Advance Program (LEAP), a training program for young adults. CareerSource Capital Region will help youth learn important skills such as goal-setting, budgeting, time management, customer service and so much more.

Interested applicants may apply for a maximum of 2 positions. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 5, 2023 at 5 p.m. EST.
