Florida Volunteer Administration Certificate

Nonprofit organizations everywhere rely on volunteers to keep their organizations going. People contribute significant time, energy, and skills to a wide range of groups.

They bring new ideas, skills, and approaches to the groups they work with. They get involved in a variety of volunteer activities for many reasons.

Leon County Volunteer Services offers volunteer management training and consultation for volunteer managers annually in the Spring.

The Excellence in Volunteer Management Training Series is a sequence of six courses on organizing and implementing a volunteer program in a nonprofit or government organization.

The Leon County Volunteer Services Presentation Team has years of experience in volunteer management and volunteer coordination. Since the program's inception in 2004, more than 300 graduates have benefited from instructional hours with our local experts to build capacity to manage volunteers.

The Excellence in Volunteer Management Certificate will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the six modules on how to engage volunteers effectively.
