IT Operations

Consists of three teams who provide support and security of networked systems residing on Leon County's wide area and local area network. The Systems team provides administration of Windows, virtual machines, and Unix-based servers providing county-wide file, application, and print server functionality and electronic mail. The Network team creates and supports the complex data network WAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure including voice and data which expands into five surrounding counties. Technical Services consists of a team of technicians that supports over 1500 desktop units through the Technical Service Center and on-site assistance, county-wide asset management of computer & peripheral equipment, support of the County’s broadcast control room, and an on-site computer training facility.
