Black History Month Double Feature
We're dimming the lights for a movie double feature on Saturday, February 11, beginning at 11 a.m. at the downtown Main Library.
See the BAFTA Award-winning documentary I Am Not Your Negro (Rated PG-13) at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Academy Award-winning film Moonlight (Rated R), directed by FSU film school alum Barry Jenkins, starting at 1:30 p.m.
African American Read-In
Bring the entire family to the 2023 Leon County African American Read-In featuring children's books by African American authors on Saturday, February 25 at 1 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. Audience members will be invited to read from a selection of books provided by the library. Featured speakers include Wanda Hunter, Dr. Kendra Mitchell, Dougla-Khan Stancil, Joseph Ward, and Regina Browning.
