Leon County is committed to giving every child the best possible experience with youth sports. We require that all coaches and volunteers participating in Leon County youth sports programs undergo a local law enforcement assisted background check. For more information on how you may become involved in youth sports programs, please call (850) 606-1470.
Responsibility for the establishment and continuance of youth sports and other recreation services is the task of the Little League and Big Bend Pop Warner. The County is responsible for the maintenance at the facilities.
In return, Leon County Parks & Recreation ensures the long term viability of these organizations by providing the necessary resources and assistance to develop new programs and activities. Little League Baseball, INC and www.bigbendpopwarner.org are just some of the resources currently being implemented.
For more information on how to get involved in your community call (850) 606-1470
