Policies and Refunds

Community Center Refunds (in accordance with Policy No. 06-1)
Refunds due to Cancellation of the Event: Notice must be made in writing and received seven calendar days prior to the planned event.  If notice is not received before the seven day period, the rental fee is forfeited.  However, security deposits and any other staff fees will be refunded. 
Refunds of Security Deposits for Community Centers: Upon Completion of your event, the center will be inspected by staff.  Any damage or missing items will be documented and reported to the Person Responsible for the event within 24 hours.  The deposit may, then, be partially or completely retained depending of the damage.  The Parks & Recreation Division reserves the right to bill the applicant for additional expenses should excessive maintenance, repairs, or staff time be warranted because of the use.
Processing of Refunds:  Refunds will be made in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.  Refund checks will be made payable to the person or entity that made the initial payment for the event.  The check will be mailed to the address provided on the original rental agreement.
