Welcome to Leon County Government’s 2024 Open Enrollment season! Open Enrollment is your annual, one-time opportunity to enroll, make changes, or cancel your benefit elections for the upcoming plan year. The only exception is when there is a mid-year IRS qualifying event. Any elections or changes made during Open Enrollment are effective January 1, 2024. During this time, you may also update your address, emergency contact information, life insurance, Florida Retirement System, and Deferred Compensation beneficiaries. If you are not making any changes, then you do not need to do anything. Refer to the 2024 Benefits Guide for an overview of the employee benefits plans and programs available to you. I am excited to welcome you to the Leon County Government Benefits and Well-Being Fair! Our goal is to ensure that each of our team members have the opportunity to participate in our annual Benefits and Well-Being Fair, so annually we will continue to offer both an in-person and virtual option.
Our annual Benefits and Well-Being Fair is your primary source for vital annual enrollment details, benefits, and wellness information. We have worked with our vendors to make sure that you have adequate opportunities to ask questions and access your benefits information at our in-person fair or through our family friendly virtual experience.
Online you will find a host of useful tools, fitness classes, and health information to support your growth both inside and outside of Leon County Government. You also have the ability to view on-demand classes and access benefits information 24/7. For those of you who prefer the in-person option, you can look forward to the same engaging and entertaining experience as before, but with a few surprises.
