POSTPONED: Leon County 2024 Sustainable Communities Summit to Return with a Twist!
In light of ongoing disaster response and recovery efforts following the May 10 tornadoes and forecasted inclement weather, the Leon County 2024 Sustainable Communities Summit has been postponed. The event will be reimagined for a future time, and citizens can stay tuned to Leon County’s social pages or the Summit webpage at LeonCountyFL.gov/Summit for the latest updates.
Since 2015, Leon County has hosted Sustainable Communities Summit to offer a space for citizens to come together, explore the latest innovations, and celebrate the collective achievements of the sustainability community. This year’s rescheduled event will continue under the theme “Reconnection: Linking Up with Local Sustainability” by expanding the event into smaller sessions throughout the year.
These sessions will foster community dialogue on local and personal sustainability while connecting citizens with local sustainable resources. Leon County Government is dedicated to creating opportunities for the community to come together, learn, and enjoy sustainable practices as we strive for a greener future.
