Message from Learning & Workforce Services Manager Sally Mason
This summer, step into a world of color, imagination, and creativity — right here at your library! The 2025 Summer Reading Program theme, “Color Our World," invites you to explore new ideas and get inspired through art, storytelling, music, science, and hands-on fun throughout June and July. Whether you love to draw, read, build, listen, or try something new, there’s something here for you. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity. The fun begins June 2!
For our budding artists, get ready for hands-on adventures full of color, sound, and discovery. Meet local artists and learn the magic of mural-making, hear Shakespeare’s words come to life, explore the science of rainbows and light, and more.
For our creative teens, this summer is your canvas. Learn the art of henna, design your own logo and explore art as business, transform old art into bold new creations, and more.
For our artistic adults, try something new or reignite your spark. Enjoy jazz fused with global rhythms, get tips on turning hobbies into side hustles, beat creative blocks with unscripted art sessions, and more.
Color outside the lines, laugh louder, and learn more — together. The adventure starts now!
Wishing you a colorful summer,
Sally Mason, Learning & Workforce Services Manager
