Message from Library Director Pamela Monroe
Hi Friends,
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! If you’re reading this, you’re already part of the choir. I want to take a moment to thank you for being one of more than 135,000 library cardholders in Leon County. We’re fortunate to have a community that so deeply values our library system's vision and goals.
Need a replacement card, or have a friend new to Leon County? Visit any of our seven library locations, and our staff will be happy to help you sign up. You can also sign up for or replace a card online!
You, our amazing patrons, are the best ambassadors for our library. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you soon at a library near you!
Amazing things are happening!
Pamela Monroe, Library Director

Help us shape the future of our Library of Things by participating in a quick survey.
The Library of Things is a collection of items other than books that are available for check out through the Leon County Public Library. The Library of Things currently has items such as drills and other tools, a pressure washer, musical instruments, outdoor games, and more. As we continue to grow the collection to serve the needs of the community, we want to know what nontraditional items you would like to borrow from the library at no cost.
Your feedback will guide us in expanding our collection of unique items available. The deadline to complete the survey is Monday, September 30, 2024.
This Library of Things collection is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
