Beginning Monday, May 4, the Library will enter Phase 1 of the Governor's Safe. Smart. Step-by-Plan for Florida's Recovery.

The following services will be available at each of our locations:

  • County Library buildings will stay closed, but curbside pick-up and drop-off service is available for print and other media materials at the Main Library and all branches under select hours.
    • Main Library Hours of Operation:
      • Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
      • Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
    • Branch Libraries Hours of Operation:
      • Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
    • The online catalog or library mobile app  is available to reserve materials, or patrons can call (850) 606-2665. More detailed information about curbside pickup is available here
    • Mobile offerings and library-based telephone services by calling (850) 606-2665 will continue.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available from your car in all library parking lots using designated parking spaces
  • Use book drops to return all materials
  • We regret that donations of new or used print or media material cannot be accepted at this time

Visit the Leon County Emergency Information Portal for up-to-date information on COVID-19, local resources, services, closures and sign up for County news and alerts. 

You can also download the Leon County Citizens Connect App for notifications on emergency management messages or services changes. 

The Citizens Connect app is available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store

Enjoy downloadable books and audiobooks from anywhere with our Libby and Overdrive apps. We've added a wide variety of e-titles to broaden our patrons' reading options.

The rbdigital app also hosts Transparent Language, which offers language lessons in over 100+ languages.
