Celebrate Florida Family Day
On Friday, November 29, celebrate Florida Family Day, a day that celebrates the importance of family togetherness, support, and love.
In 2021, the Leon County Commission and the City of Tallahassee Commission jointly declared the day after Thanksgiving as Family Day, a testament to the community's commitment to celebrating the importance of families, unity, support, and love. As the first community in Florida to make this proclamation, Leon County invites residents and visitors alike to commemorate this special occasion by spending quality time with loved ones, shopping locally at Leon County businesses, and enjoying other arts, culture and outdoor amenities communitywide. Visit www.FloridaFamilyDay.com for more information on Florida Family Day.
