Office Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Closed holidays.
Field Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Emergency calls only
Animal Control Officers can be contacted after office hours and on weekends and holidays by calling the Consolidated Dispatch Agency (CDA) at 850-606-5800. An Animal Control Officer is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for emergencies in the unincorporated area of Leon County. For residents who live inside the Tallahassee city limits, please call the city Animal Control at 850-891-2958.
Emergencies are:
- Rabies control and bite investigations.
- Rescue of sick or injured domestic animals.
- Investigation of cruelty to animals in which the animal is in immediate danger.
- Dangerous animals.
- Law enforcement assistance.
