COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF NORTH FLORIDA
The Community Foundation's is a collection of charitable funds for the benefit of the community. The Foundation helps individuals, families and businesses accomplish their charitable goals in a simple and cost-effective way. The Foundation also helps nonprofit organizations build endowments and is a source of grants for nonprofit organizations in our community.
The Community Foundation promotes philanthropy, encourages charitable giving, educates the public about the various methods for giving and provides a flexible, simple and cost effective vehicle for charitable giving. Donors do not give to the Community Foundation. They give through the Community Foundation and the Community Foundation facilitates that giving.
In the simplest sense, to many individuals, the Community Foundation is an alternative to a private foundation. To nonprofit organizations, the Community Foundation is a source of grants and a vehicle for endowment building.
