DISCover Something New at Jackson View Park!

Join Leon County Government to celebrate the grand opening of the County’s first disc golf course and the unveiling of an enhanced playground on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. at Jackson View Park, 2585 Clara Kee Boulevard.

The County’s first disc golf course at Jackson View Park features:

• Nine holes spanning more than 2,100 feet across nearly nine acres.
• Obstacles designed for players of all skill levels.
• Recreation opportunities focused on accuracy, strategy and thoughtful shot selection.

The new Jackson View Park playground features a shade sail, upgraded safety surfacing designed for children ages 2–12, and an ADA-accessible swing.

The event will include a ceremonial ribbon cutting with remarks from local leaders, County staff and representatives from the Tallahassee Disc Golf Association. Students from the local community will join in the fun, breaking in the brand-new playground and exploring the park’s new features alongside the community.

Community members are invited to bring their discs and a sense of adventure to be among the first to try out the new course and playground. The celebration will also include ice cream and opportunities for outdoor fun and community connection.
