Join Leon County Government to celebrate the grand opening of the County’s first disc golf course and the unveiling of an enhanced playground on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. at Jackson View Park, 2585 Clara Kee Boulevard.

The County’s first disc golf course at Jackson View Park features:

• Nine holes spanning more than 2,100 feet across nearly nine acres.
• Obstacles designed for players of all skill levels.
• Recreation opportunities focused on accuracy, strategy and thoughtful shot selection.

The new Jackson View Park playground, designed for children ages 2-12, will feature upgraded safety surfacing and an ADA-accessible swing, with a shade sail to be installed soon.

The event will include a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with remarks from County leaders, staff and a representative from the Tallahassee Disc Golf Association. Community members are invited to bring their discs and a sense of adventure to be among the first to try out the new course and playground. The celebration will also include ice cream.
