Saturday, March 18, 2023, kicks off the first round of the 2023 Pepsi United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Youth Championships at Capital Lanes. Over 2,600 youth bowlers, coaches, officials, and spectators from across the country will participate in the event over the next five weekends through April 23, 2023.
Hosted by Leon County Government, this year marks the first time the championship has been held north of Orlando since 2005. The event is expected to bring over 6,000 nights of hotel room visits to Leon County and an overall economic impact of nearly $6 million over the course of the five weekends. Bowlers ranging in age from 4 to 18 will compete for scholarships worth over $100,000 to be distributed to the top bowlers in each division determined by age.
SCHEDULE:
Round 1 of bowling begins at 8 a.m. each day and continues through 5 p.m. The dates are as follows:
