Temporary Road Closure of Miccosukee Road between Arendell Way and Thornton Road
On Monday, March 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting, there will be a temporary road closure of Miccosukee Road between Arendell Way and Thornton Road. This closure is needed for crane setup, removal of two trees, and debris cleanup.
Eastbound traffic on Miccosukee Road will be detoured south onto Edenfield Road then east onto US 90 (Mahan Drive) then north onto Thornton Road to Miccosukee Road. Westbound traffic on Miccosukee Road will be detoured south onto Thornton Road then west onto US 90 (Mahan Drive) then north onto Arendell Way to Miccosukee Road.
Weather conditions such as heavy rain, severe storms, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures can affect construction schedules on County projects.
