Safety Improvements Prompt Temporary Road Closure at the Intersection of Old Bainbridge and Pullen Road

WHEN: Tuesday, May 31 through Sunday, August 14
WHERE: Intersection of Old Bainbridge Road at Pullen Road
Leon County Government announces a temporary closure at the intersection of Old Bainbridge Road and Pullen Road from Tuesday, May 31, through Sunday, August 14. During the closure, Leon County will reconstruct the intersection to install a roundabout, sidewalk, landscaping and storm water improvements. Traffic is scheduled to resume before school begins again.
Northbound through traffic on Old Bainbridge Road will be detoured east onto Tharpe Street, then north on N. Monroe Street, then west onto Fred George Road to Old Bainbridge Road. Southbound through traffic on Old Bainbridge Road will be detoured east onto Fred George Road, then south onto N. Monroe Street, then west onto Tharpe Street to Old Bainbridge Road. Westbound traffic on Pullen Road will be detoured south onto Clemons Road then west onto Stone Road to Old Bainbridge Road.
Variable Message sign are in place now to inform drivers of the upcoming detours.
