County Reschedules Bradfordville Dog Park Opening Event to Friday
WHO: Leon County
WHAT: Bradfordville Dog Park Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
WHEN: Friday, November 1, at 2 p.m.
WHERE: Near the Bradfordville Community Center, 6808 Beech Ridge Trail
With inclement weather in the forecast, Leon County and our furry friends were tricked--not treated--out of a Halloween dog park opening. However, the opening event has been rescheduled to Friday, November 1, at 2 p.m. and costumes are still encouraged! The event will be held near the Bradfordville Community Center, located at 6806 Beech Ridge Trail.
The new dog park is adjacent to the County’s Bradfordville Community Center and conveniently located for residents in the northeast part of the County. The dog park is unique for our community because it provides approximately 13 acres of off-leash space for all of our four-legged friends to co-mingle and play. For pet owners, the facility will have two benches and a shade covering to take a rest and meet other dog-parents.
Animal organizations will be in attendance and there will be human and dog treats available from Lucy and Leo’s Bakery.
