Leon County Government, in partnership with the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality (OEV), is committed to connecting students and businesses, allowing for valuable networking and educational opportunities. The Leon Works Expo will facilitate meaningful connections between hundreds of high school students from the Big Bend region and a diverse array of employers and organizations, providing a unique platform for exploration across trade, business, information technology, creative, and health careers. Students will learn from individuals with local success stories and engage with employers to discover the career that best fits them.

Since 2015, Leon Works has been dedicated to educating high schoolers about career paths that require less than a 4-year degree but more than a high school diploma. By 2026, over 70,000 jobs that require more than a high school diploma, but less than a four-year college degree with average wages over $20 per hour will be available in Leon County and the surrounding region. Businesses interested in participating in this impactful event can register at LeonCountyFL.gov/LeonWorks by Sunday, March 31.
