Leon County Renovates Park Facilities

Leon County Government announces the renovations of the J. Lewis Hall Park to begin Thursday, September 22 and the US 27 Boat Landing on Monday, October 10. Due to renovations, some aspects of the facilities will be closed or unavailable.

J. Lewis Hall Park, located at 1492 J Lewis Hall Sr Ln, will close the existing restroom and concession stand for renovations. The remainder of the park will be open while improvements are ongoing. The renovated facility will reopen in February 2017, just in time for Little League season.

US 27 Boat Landing, located 4.2 miles north of I10 exit 199, will be closed through the end of the year for improvements. Some of the amenities at the boat landing will include picnic tables and grills, landscaping, dock, stabilized parking and improvements to the boat ramp.
