Leon County Offers Lifelong Outdoor Pursuits Program

WHAT:            Lifelong Outdoor Pursuits Program

WHEN:            Tuesday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE:          Woodville Community Center, 8000 Old Woodville Road

The Leon County Senior Outreach Program is offering a bike workshop on Tuesday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodville Community Center, 8000 Old Woodville Road.

A part of the Lifelong Outdoor Pursuits program, the bike workshop is a fun, educational workshop on bike safety, types of bikes, purchasing a bike, gear and accessories, bike maintenance, local trails and much more. Different types of bikes will be available to try out. Registration is required and the $10 fee includes lunch.

The Lifelong Outdoor Pursuits program is offered by the Tallahassee Senior Center and Foundation and Leon County Government. Leon County also funds Senior Center Foundation programs at six County-owned community centers.
