Florida’s First Family Day
Earlier this year, both the Leon County Commission and the City of Tallahassee Commission unanimously supported designating the day after Thanksgiving as Family Day. With this designation, Tallahassee-Leon County became the first community in Florida to celebrate families of all kinds. On November 26, residents and visitors alike can celebrate Family Day by spending time with loved ones and neighbors at the Family Day at Railroad Square event or by shopping local at any of the participating businesses and other arts, culture and outdoor locations communitywide.
