Legendary Artists the Gipsy Kings to Perform at Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park
Leon County Government and Opening Nights at Florida State University (FSU) are thrilled to announce the world-renowned musical ensemble, the Gipsy Kings, featuring the incomparable Nicolas Reyes, live at the Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park on Friday, October 20, 2023. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 19 at 12 p.m. EST.
Known for their infectious rhythms and soul-stirring melodies, the Gipsy Kings have enthralled audiences across the globe with their unique fusion of flamenco, salsa, and pop for more than 25 years. Their magnetic stage presence and extraordinary musicianship have earned them a devoted following and a place among music legends.
Over the years, the music of the Gipsy Kings has incorporated elements of Latin and Cuban styles, Arabic music, reggae, and jazz guitar reminiscent of the French Gypsy master Django Reinhardt. As heard on their new studio album, they have yet to lose their intense connection to the traditional flamenco of their heritage, spotlighting Tonino Baliardo’s fluid guitar work and Nicolas Reyes’s powerful vocals. This broad cultural mix has enabled the Gipsy Kings to be embraced wherever they play.
Tickets are $30 for general admission, $45 for P2 Reserved Seating and $65 for P1 Reserved Seating.
