Join Leon County Government for Book Feast: Family STEM and Craft Events at all LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System locations throughout December and January. During each event, the whole family can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through fun activities featuring food-related children’s books. Titles include the classic Stone Soup, Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett, and Saturday at the Food Pantry by Diane O’Neill.
The community can experience Book Feast: Family STEM and Craft Events at the following library locations:
- Saturday, December 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Main Library
- Saturday, December 17 from 1-3 p.m. – Northeast Branch Library
- Wednesday, December 28 from 2-5 p.m. – Dr. B.L. Perry, Jr. Branch Library
- Saturday, January 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Eastside Branch Library
- Thursday, January 12 from 3-6 p.m. – Woodville Branch Library
- Saturday, January 14 from 1-3 p.m. – Lake Jackson Branch Library
- Saturday, January 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Jane G. Sauls Fort Braden Branch Library
