County to Host Annual Retreat

Leon County Government will be hosting its Annual Strategic Planning Retreat on Monday, January 23, starting at 9 a.m. at the Parkview at Cascades, 414 E. Bloxham St.
At this year's annual retreat, the Leon County Board of County Commissioners will receive an update on the County’s first-year progress toward reaching the organization’s bold goals and five-year targets in the areas of Economy, Environment, Quality of Life, and Governance outlined in the Leon County Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2026 Strategic Plan. Following the update, the Board will review and update the FY 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, which provides a road map to guide the County's progress in setting the standard in public service and providing citizens and visitors alike with unparalleled opportunities and experiences.

Also as part of the day, the Board will receive an overview of the County’s role and efforts to invest in critical health care services provided by local partners to ensure that uninsured and underinsured low-income residents have access to quality health care in the community.
