County Poised to Host Statewide 2023 Sports Championship

Leon County is widely recognized for its vibrant sports scene. Over the past five years, our community has proudly played host to an impressive array of over 90 championships, spanning from youth races to collegiate and professional competitions.
On Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Leon County invites media partners to Bragg Memorial Stadium to be the first to discover the latest developments in what promises to be a thrilling addition to Leon County's championship legacy, slated for 2023. Final approval of the funding agreement will come before the Leon County Board of County Commissioners in October.
