County, City and Partners Open All Roads in Unincorporated Area
County and City crews, in coordination with the State of Florida, completed clearing all County unincorporated roads on Monday, Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. Leon County Public Works teams were assisted by City of Tallahassee Utilities and Talquin Electric crews.
Since hurricane force winds subsided on Friday morning, County and City crews have been working around the clock to open roadways and restore power. Florida Department of Transportation teams assisted in the final push to clear more than twenty trees from unincorporated roadways.
Road clearing and power restoration will continue as crews continue to make significant progress on remaining closures.
