Community Invited to the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Northeast Park

 
WHO:  Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency, Leon County Government, and City of Tallahassee
WHAT:  Northeast Park Groundbreaking Ceremony
WHEN:  Wednesday, October 16, at 11:30 a.m.
WHERE:  On Powerhouse Inc. (The roadway is accessible from Centerville Rd., north of Mclaughlin Drive on the righthand side). For precise directions, click HERE.

Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency, Leon County Government and the City of Tallahassee invite the community to the groundbreaking ceremony for the Northeast Park on Wednesday, October 16, at 11:30 a.m. Construction of the park is slated to be completed by late 2026 and will introduce a new array of recreational opportunities to Northeast Tallahassee-Leon County, offering a mix of both active and passive amenities to the entire community.

The Northeast Park will feature two full-sized, lighted baseball and softball fields, a multi-use field, four pickleball courts, a basketball court and three sand volleyball courts. Additionally, the park will offer a playground, open green space, walking trails, a community building with a concession stand and restrooms, and paved parking equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
