Leon County’s Booked for Lunch continues with bestselling local author Rhett DeVane on Thursday, November 15 at 12:15 p.m. at the Leon County Main Library, 200 W. Park Ave.
Author of 11 books ranging from young adult fantasy to political thrillers to down-home southern fiction, DeVane uses North Florida communities as major characters in her work. DeVane is also a two-time winner of the President’s Book Award from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association and winner of numerous awards from the Tallahassee Writers Association and the Florida Writers Association.
Join Leon County and others for an illuminating hour on the creative writing process and a discussion on the craft of writing. Bring a bag lunch and enjoy light refreshments.
Future Booked for Lunch programs will feature poet David Kirby on January 17 and suspense novel author Dawn Lee McKenna on March 21.
