Leon County Government invites the community to meet national bestselling author Tim Dorsey on Thursday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m., at the Leon County Main Library, 200 W. Park Ave.
Dorsey returns as part of his 2019 No Sunscreen for the Dead tour. Dorsey will speak on his Serge A. Storms series of novels and will hold a book signing with materials on hand for purchase.
Tim Dorsey was born in Indiana but later moved to Florida at the age of one. After graduating from Auburn University he worked as a police and courts, general assignment, and political reporter for both the Alabama Journal and the Tampa Tribune before leaving the newspaper business in 1999 to focus on writing full time. He has written over 20 books, many of which are bestsellers starring the antihero Serge A. Storms.
