Interested youth should apply now at LeonCountyFL.gov/SummerYouth. The application deadline is Friday, May 9, at 5 p.m.
Youth can gain job experience over the summer across various County departments, including Community and Media Relations, Volunteer Services, Library Services, and more. All positions are 20 hours per week and pay $13 per hour. Summer employment and training will run from Monday, June 23, through Friday, July 25, 2025. Â
Leon County and CareerSource Capital Region's partnership gives youth more professional development opportunities through the Learn, Earn, and Advance Program (LEAP), a training program for young adults. CareerSource Capital Region will help youth learn essential skills such as goal-setting, budgeting, time management, customer service, and so much more.
