Temporary Road Closure of Rhea Road between Thomasville Road and Lawton Chiles Lane
Starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, March 13, through Friday, March 23, at 7 p.m., weather permitting, there will be road closure of of Rhea Road between Thomasville Road and Lawton Chiles Lane. The closure is to mill and repave Rhea Road and to install a right turn lane Rhea Road traffic to turn onto Thomasville Road, which is required as a part of the Bradford Hills development.
Southbound traffic on Thomasville Road needing to turn west on Rhea Road will be detoured to turn west on Kinhega Drive, then onto Lawton Chiles Lane. Northbound traffic on Thomasville Road needing to turn west on Rhea Road will be detoured to turn west on Timberwolf Crossing, then onto Lawton Chiles Lane.
Weather conditions such as heavy rain, severe storms, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures can affect construction schedules on County projects.
