Temporary Lane Closure of Wadesboro Road from U.S. 90 to Baum Road
Starting Monday, April 28, there will be a temporary lane closure of Wadesboro Road from U.S. 90 to Baum Road for milling and resurfacing. While work will take place Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, lane closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily to minimize disruptions as much as possible. Construction is expected to last approximately 14 calendar days, weather permitting.
During the lane closures, a flagging operation will be utilized to safely direct traffic through the work zone. As an alternate route, motorists may use Baum Road to Buck Lake Road during peak traffic hours.
The project involves the resurfacing of approximately 1.35 miles of Wadesboro Road. As a resurfacing initiative, the work is aimed at restoring the roadway's surface condition, extending its life, and improving overall drivability for motorists.
